Parents Respect for the Game!

Unstructured and unsupervised play time for today’s youth is down considerably. Part of the trend includes parents being more involved in their kids sporting experiences. While some parents fully understand their role and adhere to the highest of conduct standards, many parents unfortunately are ruining the game with sideline antics and outlandish behavior. As both a parent and a coach, I recognize that parents want only the best for their kids, but lets face it, some are truly doing their kids, the sport and their community a tremendous disservice. This FA Respect Campaign was spot on and worthy of a share. Hopefully it puts things in perspective for some.

Special thanks to good friend and Regional Director of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), Greg Gatto of AYSO #137o for sharing.
